2. Booking Policy & Payment Terms
To confirm your booking:
- A 30% deposit is required to secure your reservation
- Full payment is required if the booking is made within 30 days of the tour departure
- Remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the departure date
- Failure to make payment may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the deposit
Payment Methods
We currently accept payments via Stripe or through the available payment options provided on ExploreKundasang.com. A surcharge may apply depending on the selected payment method.
Pricing
All prices are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and may be adjusted without prior notice due to currency exchange, taxes, fuel surcharges, or other external factors.
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy
If you wish to cancel a booking, please inform us as soon as possible via email at admin@explorekundasang.com. The following cancellation fees apply:
Normal Season
(January, February, May, June, September, October, November, December)
- More than 30 days before arrival: 10% cancellation fee
- 15–30 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
- 7–14 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee
- Less than 7 days or no-show: 100% cancellation fee
Peak Season
(March, April, July, August)
- More than 45 days before arrival: 10% cancellation fee
- 30–44 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
- 15–29 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee
- Less than 15 days or no-show: 100% cancellation fee
Note: No refunds will be given for missed or unused services once the tour has commenced, or for changes made after the trip has started.
In Case of Unforeseen Events
We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours due to weather, natural disasters, political unrest, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer either:
- An alternative tour of similar value, or
- A full refund minus any applicable administrative fees
4. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance before travelling. This should cover:
- Personal injury
- Medical expenses
- Trip cancellation
- Lost or stolen belongings
- Curtailment and unforeseen delays
We are not responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss, or costs incurred during the tour or through third-party service providers.
Travelers are responsible for having valid passports, visas, health certificates, or other travel documentation. We are not liable for any issues arising from non-compliance with immigration or health regulations.
5. Responsibility & Conduct
You are responsible for:
- Following the guidance of Explore Kundasang staff and representatives
- Respecting local customs, laws, and cultural sensitivities
- Behaving respectfully toward other guests, staff, and the local community
We reserve the right to remove you from the tour without a refund if your conduct is disruptive, dangerous, or disrespectful.
You are also responsible for your personal belongings. We are not liable for any loss or theft of items during the tour.
6. Feedback & Complaints
We value your feedback and aim to resolve issues promptly. If you have concerns during your tour, please report them immediately to our team on the ground.
If the matter remains unresolved, you may contact us by email at admin@explorekundasang.com within 14 days after the tour ends. We will:
- Acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours
- Respond within 7 working days
We also welcome your positive reviews and testimonials on our website and social media platforms.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, images, graphics, and trademarks on ExploreKundasang.com are owned or licensed by us. You may not copy, reuse, or publish any material without our written consent.
